It is a distinct honour to address you this morning on the historic occasion of the inauguration and naming of the mv SS Nujoma on behalf of His Excellency the Vice President Dr. Nicky Iyambo. Today’s event is significant for two reasons: Firstly, we are gathered here to witness the commissioning of Debmarine’s new deepwater diamond exploration and sampling vessel which is a work of art, technology and innovation. Secondly, we are thrilled by the fact that this vessel is to be named after His Excellency Dr Sam Nujoma, the Founding President and Father of the Namibian Nation. Open Document here
