Bursaries
Bursaries for 2025 will be advertised from mid 2024 onwards and will close on 31 October 2024. In the meantime, interested candidates in marine careers (Navigation Officer and Engineer Officer) are welcome to explore tertiary learning opportunities (aligned to the requirements of the International Maritime Organisations’ (IMO) Convention governing the Standards of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping for Seafarers 1978 (STCW78), as amended by the Conference in Manila in 2010) with tertiary education institutions to ensure they meet their requirements and application dates for studies.
