Debmarine Namibia has a “Diamond Award for Science” bursary for science aspiring students and teachers. The main criterion is being a top Namibian student, interested in Science - when selecting from equally suitable candidates, we apply principles of AA and designated groups. The aim of this award is to enable high-potential Namibian students to live their personal dreams of becoming scientists and thereby make a meaningful contribution to Namibia’s long-term development in line with Vision 2030. This award is unique in that, upon completion, the recipient has no obligation to Debmarine Namibia and can work anywhere in Namibia.

The Debmarine –Namdeb Foundation is the joint socio-economic development vehicle of Debmarine Namibia and Namdeb Diamond Corporation (Pty) Ltd which endeavours to leave a lasting diamond legacy in Namibia through partnering with local communities on sustainable projects and initiatives.
