The Diamond Award for Science demonstrates Debmarine Namibia’s commitment to the development of the youth of Namibia in the field of
Science, in support of the Vision 2030 goal of establishing Science as a key focus area for Namibia.
THE SCHOLARSHIP
The Diamond Award for Science is a full scholarship awarded to a Bachelor of Education student to further his/her studies towards the attainmentof a Bachelor of Education (with specialisation in Physical Science or Mathematics) at a tertiary institution.
The Diamond Award for Sciencescholarship will provide the successful recipient with a full bursary which covers costs related to tuition, study permits, medical, books, travel and accommodation.
The successful recipient will have no obligation to Debmarine Namibia after the completion of their studies, but is expected to
apply acquired skills and knowledge in the field of science Education in Namibia.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
To qualify, you must be a Namibian citizen and comply with the minimum entry requirements of the tertiary institution offering the programme above. Preference will be given to designated persons as stated in the Namibian Affirmative Action Act.
DOCUMENTS TO SUBMIT
Please submit your comprehensive CV, Grade 12 results for the first and second trimesters, proof of Namibian citizenship and proof of provisional
acceptance letters from an accredited tertiary institution.
