Debmarine Namibia secures funding for building of diamond exploration and sampling vessel. The construction of the Debmarine Namibia diamond exploration and sampling vessel will commence after the company secured co-funding from local commercial banks. The state-of-the art diamond exploration and sampling vessel will be built in Norway by Kleven Verft AS, a Norwegian shipbuilding group.
Named after the Founding President, the SS Nujoma will be custom-built for Debmarine Namibia exploration purposes and will be the first-of-its-kind. It will include a wide range of tailor made equipment and features. The highly specialised and technologically advanced diamond exploration and sampling vessel will be used for deep water mineral exploration to support Debmarine Namibia's fleet of five diamond production vessels.
