Apply for the Diamond Award for Science scholarship and stand a chance to realise your dream of becoming a Science Scholar who can contribute to the development of the Namibia in the field of Science.

The Diamond Award for Science demonstrates Debmarine Namibia’s commitment to the development of the youth of Namibia in the field of Science, in support of the Vision 2030 goal of establishing Science as a key focus area for Namibia.

THE SCHOLARSHIP

The Diamond Award for Science is a full scholarship awarded to a top science scholar in Namibia. The scholarship will give the successful applicant an opportunity to further his/her studies in the science field at the tertiary institution of their choice in Namibia or South Africa.
The Diamond Award for Science scholarship will provide one student annually with a full bursary which covers costs related to tuition, study permits,medical, books, travel and accommodation.
The award is open to all Grade 12 students in any institution in Namibia.
The successful recipient will have no obligation to Debmarine Namibia, after the completion of their studies, but is expected to apply acquired skills and knowledge in the fields of science in Namibia.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

To qualify, you must be a Namibian citizen and comply with the minimum entry requirements of the Tertiary Institution offering the programme above.
Preference will be given to designated persons as stated in the Namibian Affirmative Action Act

DOCUMENTS TO SUBMIT

Please submit your comprehensive CV, Grade 12 results for the fi rst and second trimesters, proof of Namibian citizenship and proof of provisional acceptance letters from an accredited tertiary institution.
